Our Strategy

Northern Industries was Founded in 2019 as part of the acquisition of its first business unit, JHT Fabrications Ltd. It subsequently acquired Steelway Fensecure Ltd and Steelway Access Covers Ltd (BrickHouse) in 2020 as part of its growth through M&A strategy, and intends on acquiring an additional 1 – 2 new business units per year for the next 3 years. In March 2022 Northern Industries also acquired CEL Sheet Metal Ltd as its 4th business unit.

Each business unit has a dedicated Managing Director that manages the daily operations of the business’s, whilst the corporate parent management team focuses on subsequent M&A activity as well as extracting synergies across the group, optimising the business units, and rolling out various ESG activities across the group. The ultimate ambition for Northern Industries is to expand into being a full capacity, horizontally integrated steel engineering group with operations primarily in the Northern region of the UK.
